About Your Utah Makeup Artist
I'm Carlie! I'm a 22-year-old BYU student from North Carolina. I'm studying Psychology, and plan to go into Marriage and Family Counseling in the future :) Makeup artistry and Psychology are definitely my two big passions in life. I served an LDS mission in Costa Rica, where my fiancé Marco and I met. We are currently in the process of waiting for his visa to come through, hoping to get married early 2023! I love spending time with my family and friends, going to concerts, traveling, shopping, and getting glammed up for no reason.
My Journey as a Utah Makeup Artist
I have loved all things beauty for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mom was a freelance makeup artist and I learned a lot from her and other amazing YouTube beauty gurus that practically helped raise me! I started doing makeup for others in high school for homecomings, proms, and graduations. Since coming to Utah, I've been able to help people feel beautiful for their engagement and bridal photo sessions and their wedding days, and it's so much fun to be a part of such special days! Being a makeup artist in Utah, I always want my clients to feel comfortable to tell me what they want - I will always ask if there's any changes wanted before finishing up to make sure you look the way you want to for your photo sessions and special days. This is Beth
Beth and I started our business together while planning both of our weddings! We have been best friends for more than six years and we LOVE working together.
Beth is an amazing photographer and even better person. Beth flew over 2000 miles to capture my proposal (and edited all the photos so fast) and will be photographing my wedding later this year! Beth does everything in her power to make you feel comfortable and beautiful. You will love her as your wedding photographer!!

What type of makeup do you specialize in?
I specialize in wedding/ bridal makeup! I also take event makeup and worked on sets with models. Wedding Makeup is definitely my bread and butter! I love my brides.
How far in advance should I book my utah makeup artist?
Generally, I am booked out 3-6 months in advance. I do have openings here and there so if you are interested in my availability for your event- reach out!
how many weddings do you take per year?
This number changes each year but I will be taking 30 weddings with my makeup packages this year. I am also working to expand my team so that I can bring an assistant along with me and have a few associates. I am limiting my availability since my fiancé and I are not sure when he will be able to come to the U.S.
