We are Carlie and Beth, two best friends who specialize in Wedding Photography and Makeup. We are based in Utah and we serve couples all around the United States! We LOVE healthy & happy relationships and we can’t wait to obsess over yours!!

We know first hand that wedding planning can be stressful (Carlie is a 2023 Bride, herself!). There are tons of decisions to make and it can be hard finding vendors. We started CBB for this very reason while tirelessly planning our weddings. We wanted to make it easy to find wedding photography pricing and book your makeup artist at the same time! We LOVE being a team and can’t wait to create an experience for you that will make your vision come alive.
The Experience

We will hop on the phone with you for a quick call or facetime to make sure we are a great fit for you!
2. Save the Date
Once you are ready just let us know and we will send you a contract to secure your date! You will review it and pay your deposit and boom! We’ve made it official!
3. Begin the fun
Wedding planning can be stressful but it doesn’t HAVE to be. We help you along the way and tell you everything we know. Including help with your wedding timeline and tips for the most dreamy photos. You’ll hear from us often. Plus, we will schedule your next session and makeup trial!
4. Your Engagement Session & Makeup Trial
We will help you find the perfect location, outfits, & time for your next session! You will be able to relax and listen to Taylor Swift as Carlie applies your makeup and start to really feel like a bride!! When you are all glammed up, you’ll head over to hangout with Beth! Taking photos will feel easy (even if your fiancé usually feels awkward taking them) because we will guide you through it all. You’ll receive those photos in an online gallery and be able to share them however you’d like!
5. Finalizing the details
Once we are about 4 weeks out from your wedding we will hop on the phone again! We will make sure that you are totally prepared and feeling good about the plans we’ve been making together.
6. Boogie all Night
It’s your wedding day!! It’s our turn to make the plan you’ve made come to life. While Carlie finishes your makeup- I will be capturing your wedding details and genuine moments with the people you’ve chosen to surround you on your special day! As the day goes on, I will make sure to get all the classic wedding day shots that every couple wants as well as the emotional and unique moments of your special day. I will party, celebrate and boogie with you all night long!
7. The Memories
You’ll receive sneak peeks in an online gallery within 48 hours after you’ve tied the knot. I love to send these quickly because the wait is definitely not the fun part. Around 6-8 weeks later, you’ll have hundreds of gorgeous photos from your wedding and be able to relieve the magic for years to come.

Can I book just makeup or photogrAPHY?
Yes, We totally understand that not everyone needs both of our services together. If you would like to book our services separately, contact us!
ARE YOU LGBTQ+ FRIENDLY?
Absolutely! We love capturing all types of love stories and always want our clients to feel accepted and respected.
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes! We are based in Utah. For an additional travel charge, we are able to travel to Arizona, California, and Idaho. If you don't live in one of these states and would like to book us, reach out for our availibility.
When can i expect to receive my photos?
Photo galleries will be delivered maximum up to 3 weeks after engagement or bridal sessions and up to 2 months following a wedding. Expedited edits are available during busy season so please reach out for my rates and I'm happy to do that for you!
Do I have to do a makeup trial before my wedding day?
A makeup trial is not required, but it is highly recommended. Doing a makeup trial is the best way to make sure that your makeup turns out the way you want it! It's also the best way for me to get to know your skin type and preferences to make sure the best products are used for your special day.
Do I bring my own makeup products?
No! I have all makeup products you might need for your service.
Can you photoshop me?
If you are looking for a photographer who will photoshop your body or your photos heavily, I don’t feel that we will be a good match. I really believe that it is one of my responsibilities as a photographer to capture your beautiful body as is. I do touch-up skin a little for any blemishes and I definitely will work with you if you have any specific concerns so that you will feel confident and comfortable!
How many weddings do you take per year?
we are accepting a total of 25 weddings for 2023 with our combined makeup & photography packages. we want to limit the amount of weddings we take to ensure that our clients are getting the time and attention they deserve as well as their photos back as quickly as possible! if you are interested in our photography only or makeup only packages- reach out and we will let you know if your date is available!
How do you charge for travel expenses?
travel expenses (within utah) are calculated at a rate of .65/mile for any mile that exceeds 20 miles outside of provo, utah. If you are inquiring for a wedding that is outside of the state of utah- contact us for a specialized quote!
Do you give discounts?
we love that you are interested in booking with us! there are a few wedding venues that we are offering discounts for. those venues are: river bottoms ranch, white shanty, siempre utah, and the rooftop lehi. otherwise our prices are firm!
What do I wear?
Each of our couples will receive a guide that includes suggestions on what will be best for you!
How do I chose a good location for a session/?
I love to help you and your love pick a location that will represent you and look cohesive for the vibe of your wedding!
What gear do you shoot with?
I shoot on a Sony a7riii mirrorless full frame camera body with dual card slots and I primarily use a 35 mm, 85mm, and 24-70mm for my sessions! My backup camera body is a Sony a7s mirrorless full frame and I have an extra 50mm!
